Just as you breathe to live in a physical sense, pray so that you may live in the spiritual sense. Do not let our adversary dissuade you from praying and striving for repenting—Satan works to convince you your sin has distanced you too greatly from God and all is hopeless or lost, but Jesus’ work on the cross was for you and planned for you before the foundations of the earth. Do not give up and do not lose hope!
“Breathe your prayer to him, “Blessed Spirit, dwell with me. Make me tender and lowly of heart, that I may hate sin and unfeignedly repent of it.” He will hear your cry and answer you (Isa 30:19).”
