I'm on the fence about PVP in diablo 4. I've seen hundreds of hours of footage. But my brain always comes back to me watching the POV of a really decked out barb sit and get wailed on by tons of people while he barely got hurt, if hurt at all. When he got bored, he just one shot the other people, all of them. So i dont know if he was just so decked out that it made the others look as weak as they did, or if barbs just have that much of an unfair advantage. So until i can try it myself and or hear of other people with pvp stories that go a different way against geared barbs, its a 50/50.
But the rest of the game looks fun .
You were watching bugged builds is all man.. The game wasn't nearly close to finished. That was a 9month pre-release state.
I reached infinite symbols as my damage after ramping it with just one of several ways to do so.
Take the core of the PvP though, and then you can decide if it'll be fun. Balancing and debugging will definitely be an ongoing thing for the first few seasons anyway.
