i mainly love diablo 2, and i've never been too much into diablo 3, but for some reason diablo 4 just looks like diablo 3 based on the videos i've seen.

i'm not hyped at all for d4. i rather look forward to play next d2r season to be frank. still ...

Yea, I'm also glad and surprised we got D2R. Excited that they are actually adding things to it.

D4 doesn't 100% look like D3 even outside of darker tones. But the way it plays and the skill animations do look an awful lot like D3. I still don't understand the no trading issue. You're taking out the key component as to why there was even a need for D2R. Trading is one of the main factors folks still play the game or even would want a D3 or D4. However, if were able to trade RARE items and then up them into legendary, that could be something worth taking the time to play.

I'd be more interested in waiting a couple years to have a couple new acts or in game content for D2R than having a revamped D3. I still think POE was a truer successor to D2 than D3 was.

It will sell a ton of copies and be popular for awhile but like all of these games today they all eventually die off but d2 is one of those games that just keeps everyone coming back isnt many games made today that are like that anymore outside of the new content updates that bring everyone back

Playing the beta, It literally felt exactly like I was playing D3, except on a new engine. The artistic direction is the exact same.

Soundtrack is amazing though at least.
