Cold showers are better for post workout recovery.
Did a 3 hour workout for full body. Probably going to do one again after I wake up to keep the habit going.
I did chest, squats, dips, triceps, bent over rows, 400 jumping jacks.
Leg lifts, and situps, planked, wrist curls and grip strength exercises.
Idk what else to do.
Also cycled at a low speed for 5 miles.

Yeah online I read mixed reviews about it no scientific fact, also yeah it was approx 2 1/2 to 3 hours after I got done or in total.

Ice baths will help with recovery. A cold shower not so much. It is super invigorating, though, isn't it?!

Look better, there's plenty of information about how reducing inflamation reduces adaptation. Ice cold baths post training reduce adaptation and therefore stall progress. Ice cold baths on rest days are good.

This.

Plus just recently there has been a study about how good ice baths are pre workout! You take your icebath, let your body warm back up again, then after like 10-30min start workout and it has very beneficial effects for hypertrophy and strenght training
