This game doesn’t even begin to start until after act 10.

Usually you rush through a1-a10 and get to maps before you even care about any gear/skills.

Good players take 3-6 hours to progress to maps on first play through.

Already uninstalled it long ago bud. Grinding for 3-6 hours just to begin to start this game is a sign of bad game design. D2 you could solo finish the game in 3 hours in each difficulty. The reward vs grind is out of wack.
Not saying some people enjoy that kind of thing but it requires you to dedicate a good portion of your life just to start to enjoy the game. I was happy grinding d2 for 12 hrs a day because I didn't have work commitments and life was simple as a kid but this shit isn't for me.

My first try 2 years ago, I played 6 hours and uninstalled. It was a bad game.
Then after D4 disappointment I tried again with an open mind, knowing that so many people loved this game.
I'm now deep in the game, it's an absolute, beautiful gem.
The real game starts near the end of campaign.
It's worth it.

My opinion.

If it doesn't spark a slight enthusiasm within 10min - 1hr of gameplay it ain't for me. It's like as if someone made me sit and watch unskippable cut scene for several days or tutorial. You've lost me.

If you like ARPGs with heavy theorycrafting this is a very good one. If you prefer slower paced combat with dodges then this game stopped being that years ago.
