Anyone else here watching this?

Japan is tired of being shit at soccer/football, so they decide to take the 300 best young strikers and put them in a non deadly squid games type of challenge.
Losers get eliminated and blacklisted from ever playing for the national team in the future.
The one who comes out on top will be "the greatest striker" and hopefully will lead Japan to a World Cup title.

There are 9 episodes out so far, it's been pretty interesting.
Typically I don't do many sports animes, but this one's alright.

Japan are considered underdogs and the point of the show is to make them into favorites. Where it’s not surprising to take down Spain and Germany, but instead it’s expected

Yes Japan's supposedly not a great nation for football. Still what they're doing in the current World Cup competition is pretty Amazing so far.
I'm curious to see if They will pass the stage of the "eighth finals" though.

They will Face up croatia next. And it will happen Today at 16:00 (My Time)

They’re doing well, and Croatia should actually be a good matchup for them. It’s on at midnight my time, so I’ll try to tune in

Yes indeed it will be an interesting match to see. In my country you have to Pay if you want to see it in your Television. which really sucks.
How is it there in the US? (or in whatever coutnry you are) you can watch it for free ?

PS. I am in france and it sucks being there. Everything is so expensive there starting from food.

Haven't watched any of the world cup.
Watched all 9 ep of bluelock though and it is really good and this last episode was 10/10
My first sports anime lmao.
