EDIT: SORRY FOR HUGE SCREENSHOTS

Hey all, been spending a few days trying to help a friend with their pc problem.

HOW IT STARTED:
They attempted to factory reset their pc, and during the process, the power chord disconnected from being loose so their windows user profile was just deleted, and they couldnt even log into their pc.

After spending many hours trying to fix THAT issue, we ended up buying a new samsung 980 pro 500 gb m.2 SSD to try to just clean install windows on that and fix the problem (the previous SSD was some random m.2 1tb ssd).

So the SSD came in today, we got 2 usbs, a windwos 10 install one and a windows 11 one. we tried both, but the closest we got was with the windows 10 usb

IN BIOS, there are 3 boot options:
1. SanDisk (usb)
2. Samsung 980 EVO SSD 500 gb
3. (UEFI) SanDisk (usb) <-- not sure what this is or why theres 2

So, we set the boot options in that order above ^, booted it up, selected windwos 10 pro to install, got to the screen of selecting the disk drive, and got this error message:

SO we looked it up, and saw a solution to disable CSM in bios. We went to bios, set launch policies to UEFI, and then disabled CSM:

When we did this, saved and rebooted and it just black screened completely, and we had to remove the CMOS battery to reset the bios.

We've tried so many things like with CMD commands, clean, convert gtp, xcopy into a smaller 20-30 gb partition and trying to isntall that way, nothing works.

I can give plenty more details too if needed but thats the basis of it. Right now were stuck with this error message, but disabling CSM whichs eems to be the fix just ends up black screening the whole pc.
