I see alot of people talking about this online, saying it's the 2nd best supplement after creatine.

From what I am seeing, it doesnt seem worth it as a regular thing and can make you feel depressed.

Anyone here tried it?

I started with a 2 month bottle just kind of as an experiment. Took a break for a bit before going with an ashwaghanda/magnesium combo capsule...

Only really observable effect so far seems to be an improvement in my quality of sleep, although I fully acknowledge this could be the result of placebo/other external factors.

The data seems pretty compelling on it, I'll probably continue alternating months off and on going forward.

Probably not worth it. Doesnt really break the headlines in any credible medical circles/journals. My stance is to avoid, its probably harmless but 1) there are a few known supplements (idk about ashwagandha) that can cause liver and kidney problems 2) you would save money. These arent usually cheap.

Creatine is good and pretty safe as far as i know, followed by protein supplements (just to hit macros) and possibly vitamin D if living in areas of low sun, especially if dark-skinned.

This stuff really works for muscles, but it also works in creating health problems

I picked some up about a year ago and hated it. Made me feel extremely overwhelmed and anxious with the most basic tasks (IE - responding to an email or trying to organize my daily tasks/thoughts)

Have a few friends that swear by it but didn’t work out for me. I feel ZMA gives me the same affect they talk about anyways ~

it works great collectively with other supplements and antioxidants from good quality foods. By itself you're not going to see a lot of the benefits that its hyped up to help with. There are definitely better places to spend your money
