Hi,

Question for people using PC that participated in D4 beta.

Can you write :
1. What CPU you have
2. What GPU you have.
3. On what resolution you play (1080p, 1440p or 4k)
4. How much FPS you have in fights and demanding scenes during gameplay ? Can you achieve stable 60fps or more at max settings ?

I did not saw discussions about performance, and I believe many people are interested if game is well optimized ?

Please share your thoughts if you played beta.

Thanks

1. AMD 5950
2. RTX 3090
3. 1440p
4. 144 fps V-sync

Ram is the issue....some people are seeing 20 gigs + of usage. I'm running 32gig DDR4 4000 here and it's only using 10 gig at the moment, maybe my vram is helping it out. I don't think CPU/GPU are the issues, just the game needs more optimization.

Also, Ray Tracing is WIP and will crash the game if enabled. I expect to use this at the loss of performance, however, this is no competitive shooter, so I don't care about huge frame rate numbers

1. i5-9600k
2. 3060TI MSI
3. 1080p 60hz monitor
4. 130-150 fps
Playing on high resolution. CPU and GPU go around 60-80% usage and temp around 60-70 degree.

1. What CPU you have. AMD Ryzen 5 5600x (3,7ghz)
2. What GPU you have. AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT
3. On what resolution you play (1080p, 1440p or 4k) - 1440P (165hz monitor)
4.a How much FPS you have in fights and demanding scenes during gameplay? - Almost always I am hoovering at ~70-90fps, at 1440p and all on high (not ultra) except texture quality which is "medium" (cant toggle high unless u got 8gb vram). However, when the screen blowsup in specially packed scenes / 200 small mobs and i use corpse explosion of whole screen radius blow everything up (clusterfuck á la modern gaming you cant tell shit from shit) it's possible i drop down to 25-50 fps. It happens perhaps 1/10 big fights or ~1time per 1-2hours if i had to guess
4b Can you achieve stable 60fps or more at max settings? - no, well i cant even have max settings due to not having 8gb vram...

I think I have a high rez addon, apparantly it's on by default for this beta. Game was 78gb to download btw.

why are you not on a 1440p or 4k 110hz+ monitor on that monster rig!

Was with 6600 nonXT and bought 3060TI as I found it cheap used one and spend money for monitor. Will buy 144hz monitor and then I will feel 144hz or 1440p res. I dont think now I can feel the power.

My monitor is abit too stronk for my card in modern games (G27q-20 lenovo, 165hz 1440p, IPS with beautiful color accuracy) but it was on a sick sale 1yr ago so i bought it. Your card can def handle 144hz or 165hz (equiv fps) diablo iv in 1080p and probably smooth 120+fps in 1440p, with all highest.
Go for it :)

Guys, thank you all for answers, I really appreciate it !!
It looks like game is already balanced fine, and I am sure it will be fine tuned until release date, and all problems fixed.

My current PC is : I5 10400 + 16GB DDR4 + RTX 3080 (10GB) and monitor is 32" 1440p 75Hz.
I was afraid I would need to upgrade processor, but by your comments I think will probably be fine i5 10400.
16GB ram should be OK.

Only if I upgrade monitor to high refresh like 144Hz or more, than maybe stronger CPU is needed.. Than I will maybe go for Ryzen 5800X3D or 13600K.

O dear, can't wait to play D4 :)

im 16gb ram myself and it works fine, but, thats a cheap upgrade i think id like to. dont want smtn like that hinder my rig.
IDK that cpu but should be fine - it seem to be in the same region as my 5600x amd, plus your gpu is a monster. Youll run this at ultra and 75fps no problemo. I dont think my processor has any issues with D4, rather graphics and VRAM most of all fpr 1440p

game is really pretty by the way enjoy

edit: actually my GPU has 8gb ram so idk why it doesnt let me run high texture setting. guess its too heavy on 1440p.
