This show is balls-to-the-wall amazing

It's sad that the SW brand has had its name dragged through the mud with the recent Boba Fett and Obi-Wan series. But don't let those discourage you from watching Andor.

The best thing about Andor is that it has almost nothing to do with Star Wars. There's a couple minor characters we've seen and then there's the fact that the Empire exists. Other than that, it's its own thing.

Its genre is not space action adventure. It's more of a war drama. The vibes are more reminiscent of a mashing of Enemy at the Gates, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy with little bit of Dances with Wolves or Last Samurai thrown in.

This could have easily been written as a real-world movie that just got a coat of Star Wars paint sprayed on top. It feels targeted to 60-year olds.

It's early but so far it is easily the best Star Wars themed thing to come out since The Force Awakens.

This show is sick. Big fan of Rogue One and there's definitely elements in Andor that reflect the style of Rogue One.

Very excite for next ep.

well, luckily Stellan Skarsgard plays an antiques dealer, so perhaps he can procure a scrap of paper for her to tear up disdainfully.

Seriously though, the best moment of the show so far was when Mon Mothma bitched at her husband over the seating arrangement at his dinner party. Never in a million years did I imagine that I'd see this side of the Star Wars universe. The way Ep4 felt, I may well have been watching a David Fincher movie.
