Traded my 6800xt gaming x trio with a fat cooler for a reference 6900xt and the guy threw in a haircut and $50.

It just Just passed the timespy stress test with sub 80c Temps so it works fine.

Mfw this guy approached me with a straight trade, and when I thought it was suss he said he would throw in the $50 and give me a fade
made him send me a firestrike stress test pass with timestamp and my boi did it so we met up.

What just even happened.

How did the situation take place what was the surrounding areas and things like that?

this seems like a to good to be true thing. all good reasons for the trade would be a nice talking point that he would have probably brought up. there's a few things I can think of and all of them would benefit him to explain. so maybe this thing is unstable at a certain point.. or he's just really private. how was the haircut? is he coming by later to wash your car?

I mean it's been just fine gaming last night and passed the timespy stability test only hitting 75c on the core and unigen heaven for an hour max settings 1440p.

He mentioned he only plays 1080P and felt like his 5600x was holding it back and was wanting a cooler quieter card, Which a 3 slot 6800xt would absolutely accomplish.

I was worried it was a mining card but there isn't that much dust on it.
