well considering cursed lord de seis got me to less than half hp in a full game, im glad I went with ss and not spirit.

if i cared to afford it id go coa/ber/ber/dungos/spirit

I like to run tgod with coa personally

COA godly af ;D

Spirit + hoto + trang + fcr rings + 2/10 ammy

Ber ber coa
Hot spur

39% DR 90 fire res 85 light res +20 light sorb

If you are more worried about phys than lightning could just swap out tgod for string, but IMO lightning is most scary elemental threat it's good to have some sorb.

tgod isnt necessary unless tele'ing baal a lot. Lightning is only scary with whisps with baal.

no need for cs runner, cs > baal for hdin solo mfing and terror zones now better than baaling.

Terror zones are going to have lots of lightning enchant and bound to be gloams/souls.

Maybe damage scales up with monster levels I'm not sure, but in terms of spike damage physical + amp and lightning are most rippy by far.

All up to you I'm just I'm tgod is my preferred with COA

Obviously any ele dmg with a conviction monster is scary if your not stacked.

most elemental is only scary because of convction/lr, in which case you stack. whisps are the only thing that's scary otherwise, in which case points into holy resist lightining skill.

what's most scary though are might/amped/fanat packs though. 50 dr really is necessary imo for the most survivable hc char

17-19 life 10-11 fire res x2 5 all res x 3 and 3-4 pcombat lifer or plain.

Is you worried about health stack some 11 res x y z and youll be good to go
12k damage max block 3ish k life etc tanky as fuck

Better to run tgods and max holy shield than string/dungo and max light resist

eww why would i max holy shield. it stops giving benefits after like whatever your gear gives you basically

Don't forget your mercenary. With the right a5 choices, he'll keep you alive and all undead knocked back as you disconnect.

defense is under rated. not getting hit = ehp

20 pts into resist lightning = 10% max lightning resist

19 pts into holy shield = minor dex savings & +285% enhanced defense

lets say base def is

150 st
1300 enigma
350 coa
100 tgod
50 uppd hotspor
70 trangs
==
rougly 2k defense base... so +285% = 5700 more defense.

If you have 10k defense under the old setup and 15.7k defense with this new setup

oblivion knights will have 5.5k to 6k attack rating

10k defense = 6,000/(6,000+10,000) = 37.5% chance to be hit (before level difference calculation.)
15.7k defense = 6,000/(6,000+15,700) = 27.6% chance to be hit

It seems like 10% but it isn't, you're actually 36% more likely to be hit with max lightning resist instead of max holy shield (37.5/27.6).
