Hi, wanted to make a hdin with 125fcr for hardcore.

basically, want to be strong as shit and survive cs and the fuckery that goes on like disconnects and whatever. I was worried a standard hoto/spirit build might not be strong enough to survive CS without major DR.

i was thinking of:

wiz/ss/fcr rings/15+fcr amulet/arach but worried I might be losing a lot of skill here (hoto, rings, amulet, spirit shield...) that I might have a problem killing?

Ideally I think I'd be running hoto/spirit/coa/ber/ber but that is a bit pricey and shako is nice for mf.

Thanks. Maybe there's another angle I'm not seeing like dungos/20fcr amulet.

1x 10fcr ring
String of ears
Dwarf star or wisp
Waterwalk



Can always swap magefist for Trang glove if you want

yeah maybe. this is what i'm thinking now:

wiz spike
dungos instead of arach
shako
spirit 35
and then 20fcr from jewelry.

that's 125fcr.

I'd probably use hotspurs. if anything else i'd use war travs.

There aren't many FCR amulets for trade on hc ladder, and certainly none that are affordable. A 2/20fcr amulet would be godly, that would leave space for 2xBK rings. But I think a 3/10 amulet and a 10fcr amulet is fine.

Really the best build would use a coa/ber/jewel with a 2/20fcr amulet and dungos but I think that would be quite expensive.

Not to mention string of ears is substantionally better for pvm than dungos.

Yes. For anything.

If you are using dungos for pvm, string of ears is always better.

Dungos > string for pvp (other than lld which dungos is to high lvl req for)

Yeah the mdr in pvm with alot of magic dealing enemies in CS really outweights the 40vit and 10fhr... lol

Shako string enigma = 33 DR. More than plenty of DR.

Hoto more damage. Dead monsters deal 0 damage. Nor do you need more resist from wiz spike with 40 hoto 45spirit 30 anya 40 anni/torch. That’s 155. Then 35 for cold / light / poison from spirit runes. Puts you at 190 cold/light/poison. Then most times you are using maras for another 30 to all. Putting you at 220 cold/light/poison and 185 fire.

String has 13 MDR on top or 15% Dr. 13 MDr reduces the elemental damage you take by 13. Which is significantly more than 13 rep and 40 vit from dungos offers you

Waterwalk gives you life and Dex and 5% max fire resist. The 5% fire resist coupled with dwarf star will make 80% of the time you take fire dmaagw acrually heal you. On top of significantly incrwasinf the amount of life you have (65 max life on waterwalk) plus saving you 15 hard points into Dex for max block, another 45 life. That 110 life is then scaled by BO and your Jah runes.
