I mean. I clearly understand it more than you. Not that I’m an expert on the subject but since I’m 35. Have(as you said) been with the same person since high school (15 exactly) and then married to that very same person for 15 years.

I kinda got a hint of what it’s like to be in a real relationship. House, Bills, Kids, fights, in-laws, property purchases, health issues… you know the usual stuff. Been there done that.

At what length do you find I’ll be knowledgeable on the subject would you say? Do I have to get a degree from an unmarried professor? Do I have to hit 80 and still be with her?

You need to be able to comprehend that your own life is merely on perspective on the topic. And not something you project onto others, or even history. Once you are able to look in it in that way, some people might start considering you wise.

I edited my last comment to add something because you posted during my typing.

PS: You assumed I was projecting. I clearly stated IMO in my initial comments.

My wife complains I don't make enough money so she doesn't have to work. I just tell her she's lucky. 70k a year still ain't good enough boys.

If I made 100k+ a year, I would want her to stay home with our son. If you have children, there's no getting that time back and the best nurturer will always be the parent vs. daycares, etc.

Hope everyone has A GREAT FRIDAY weeoooo

You think that, but honestly if one of the parents can work from home (even if its part-time and only makes 12-15 bucks an hour) you can save up money to really invest in the future of your children. And they are going to be at school like 8 hours of the day.

If I were a man, I would really hate it if my wife said I didn't make enough money. Like, ok, maybe 70k isn't a lot but it's enough to live on. And I work hard and hand over all the money to her, plus I love her. She really shouldn't complain.

70k is quite a bit. At that point you are making 33~ish bucks and hour. depending on how many hours you work.

I've seriously looked. It's a good place for people with my condition (stable climate, etc) just so hard to give my job up. But damn is it attractive.
