looking for a pc upgrade
16gb ram is the obvious needed for gaming
however, im considering 32gb, is 32gb really needed or can 16gb smash any and all games?
has anyone had any experience with certain games or mass stuff on their pcs and have found 16gb to be an issue? (in a bad way)
Depends on windows 7 , 10, 11
7 @ 8GB
10 @ 16GB
11 @ 32GB
When I'm on windows 11, with a fresh install I'm normally sitting at 4.7GB
Once I select a better windows theme, i'm sitting at 5.5GB
Logging into Google/microsoft emails / xbox account now sitting at 7.2 GB
Any anti virus software or malwarebytes adds another 1GB ram easy.
Most Video Games now days assuming 1080P run at 4 to 8 GB of ram,
When Doing 2k or 4k Some games even take 10 to 12 gb of ram. ( not even calculating the Video Ram )
16GB on a budget and or windows 10. but if 11, definitely get the 32.
