No. They are the biggest losers in all of this. The fanbase will be out for blood.

Jazz

Traded a player who probably wont even get out of the 2nd round in the East as well.

Acquired 2 rotational players who are signed for 3 and 4 years. Both very solid players with plenty of room to grow.

Also, acquired Agbaji, the 14th pick from the 2022 draft along with 3 unprotected firsts + 2 1st round pick swaps 2025 and beyond(Mitchell likely gone). The Cavs should remain competitive, so I don’t expect them to be lottery picks. They’ll likely still in the 15-20ish range imp.

They have have young players signed to solid contracts that with their quantity of picks, they should have no problem making a move to acquire whoever they find to be a fit in 1-2 years.

Rebuild might be shorter than people think if they can somehow manage to dump Mike Conley, which they shouldn’t have a problem with considering what they might be able to attach. I doubt they want to pay the price, so imo this rebuild is going to take at least until 2024 for us to see them making moves.

No idea what the Cavs are doing with that midget backcourt.

Most teams even have a bigger player than Okoro in their backcourt

Score 60 but just make it easier to get those 60 back on the other end

I think the thing people forget about acquiring all stars, is it makes it more enticing for other all stars to sign there in free agency. There is so much unquantifiable value in that aspect of the deal.
