hi i just bought myselft a new setup and its the first tower gaming PC i own.
i always had gaming laptop so i have no idea how to manage my things in there

PC part list :
motherboard : aorus z690
I7 12700 kf
rtx 3080 ti amp holo zotac gaming
2x 16g ddr 4 3600 hz
m.2 1to pci 4.0
aio aorus 360mm 3 fan watercooler

and my case i have 3 fan on the front and 1 exhaust fan
im wondering about my air flow .

if i leave my glass side panel on the air coming out of my exhaust fan is smoldering hot and my gpu raise to 80C / 176f

this is my setup
https://imgur.com/a/hZfhRdt

i guess i need a second exhaust fan but were to put it ?
also my aio rad with 3 fan is right where the 3 input fan can they fight the air flow ? they are 1 agaisnt each other from each side of the rad ?

thats my option on the case

im also looking for a good software to manage fan and rgb. is there something that can manage all the component cos right now i need to use 1 software for each brand and im having a hard time getting control over any fan speed

Are you overclocking your 12700KF?
Are you overclocking your RTX3080ti?

It's rather common these days to run AIO's on the front intake, but if you're looking to maximize your air flow efficiency and temps I would definitely 'top mount' your aio as an exhaust and install high CFM fans as intake on the front. You can probably fit 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm (I would go for 140mm, they will be quieter typically). By no means is 80c too hot, that's an acceptable temperature overall (not sure what your ambient room temperature is). You also have to consider you're running one of the higher end cards in RTX right now, that 3080ti will definitely be getting hot, especially with extended use and ofc depends on what you're doing with it.

But certainly don't go thinking you need more exhaust, you need more air flow into the case.

If you find that none of that works (which it should honestly drop your temps a few degrees, minimum) you can always undervolt your GPU in MSI Afterburner, or other types of software like that. Easy to find videos on youtube.

I undervolt my RTX3060 and have my i7 9700KF set to 4.7ghz (can go to 5.0ghz but not necessary for my tasks) and my GPU rarely floats over 70c and my CPU rarely floats over 65c

hi, im not overclocking anything and my cpu is running at 30-40 C im not worried about my cpu :P
i will try to see if i can fit my aio on top but the lenght of the air trap on top is for i guess a 2 fan aio.
room temperature is around 72f / 20 C

i already have 3 fan on the front of the case but i cant see them on any software id like to raise their speed a bit they are silent right now i wouldnt matter if they go a bit faster but cant seems to find them anywhere maybe they are not plugged on the right spot on my motherboard ?

The reason I ask about the CPU overclocking is that it will naturally raise the temperature inside the case without proper airflow, so at least now we know that it is not the CPU raising the temp.

I don't see any fans on the front intake other than the ones that are hooked up to your radiator, and those won't be helping with airflow they are just dissipating the heat from your radiator to the inside of your case.

Looking at your imgur pic too, it's confusing as your arrows are showing that the fans on the radiator are setup as exhaust but then you have arrows on the outside of the case pointing in showing intake? which would be negligible as the fans would just fight.

80c is normal for a 3080ti under load

my evga ftw 3080 runs about 70-85c gaming in 4k. I have to use x1 precision to under volt and keep the temp under 80c in really demanding games. max operating temp for the 3080 and 3080ti fe is 93c
most people dont like to have the high temps but its fine running 80-85c

this is true, not sure the resolution he is gaming at, that would have been a good question too

determined that there 3x intake fans on the inside front panel and then on the interior of the pc the rad is mounted as exhaust on the front, causing the fans to fight each other and provide no adequate intake cooling/exhaust

fix with modding the case to allow a 360MM Aio as top exhaust and 3x intake fans to remain in place for proper air flow, or replace 360MM with 240MM Aio up top, or just a new case to allow for the 360MM Aio

should help temps immediately

yes i called the shop i just bought my setup and they will change my 360mm for a 240mm and i will put it on top as exhaust fan i think it will be good. and for now i only game in 2k mostly path of exile and warzone.

but path of exile is not a huge graphic game but its so not well optimized that it makes me run at 30-60 fps in 2k and raising temps of my card really fast for nothing i only open the game menu and my card raise to 78 C and there is not even any graphic demand compare to juiced mapping and all.

thanks for the help ill keep you posted once i have made the swap for a 240mm and see if i can put back my side panel cos right now i just cant

and i know that i should buy a 4k monitor with this setup but its will be my next upgrade i guess

Yeah, the other option would to put the fans on your radiator as pull vs. push that way all airflow is directed into the case vs. the fans fighting eachother and then install 2x 120mm exhaust fans above in that 240mm spot

But for best cooling I think switching it out is definitely better.

I'm not familar with POE's FPS caps, etc, but for a 3080ti that seems very low.

Maybe try put fresh thermal paste and pads on the gpu
