Just because you dont understand what people are saying, it doesn't make it a word-salad.

Lol, learn to English.

Well his entire message can be summed up with his last line when he says "Something from beyond the universe had to put it all together to make it work."

So he is religious and believes a god had to create it. Fair enough I guess.

But then my response to it would be: Just because life is extremely rare and complex, it does not really mean its impossible. Additionally on an atomic level we we are space dust through and through. Everything that is on earth is from the universe and is part of it. As unique as we are, on an atomic level we are made of processed stardust.

He also mentioned "But what we should do is look at what we already know and examine its nature. Specifically, on the atomic level." - thats a duh... and science (not religion) is already doing it.

Basically he is saying words that mean nothing but god.

there is nothing about life that suggests its from some kind of happy accident. DNA is information, 4bit instructions for a specific 2d body plan. a dna strand is about 6feet long and the most efficient data storage system known to man.

DNA could store all of the world's data in one room
New algorithm delivers the highest-ever density for large-scale data storage

if life was found outside of earth that would pose even a greater problem for the material people

Well we are just part of a process of some kind, and we are nothing more than atomic energy just like everything else, but "other life forms" could be very different than what we imagine. They could have energy forms to be able to "live" on Sun or other even hotter stars, and we would not be able to ever have any form of communication with them as for them earth is extremely cold, time for them could flow very different too as its based on receptors and changes those receptors interpret. So lots of variables in play.

I'd like to know from all of you what you think about this?

I find it a fascinating topic.

I believe that if life could somehow form on earth, there should not be a reason why it can't form anywhere else if the conditions are right.

So I personally go with "Most likely yes".

its called N- abiogenesis not /insert religion.

theres no life on this planet, im still looking for it.

abiogenesis is not a proven or even mutually agreed upon scientific theory .

creation of life on earth is still a vast mystery

Absolutely.

We have already discovered thousands of habitable exoplanets within our galaxy. Given the absolute cosmic scale on the known universe, there isn't a doubt in my mind that life exists outside our planet.

Edit: add word
