Exactly its pure hype built on previous successes. Just look at d3 dogshit game but that doesn't stop people from playing it. If writers of Breaking Bad decided to do another spinoff series about Walter White's hat it would get more views then 95% of the shows out there.

This show so far did have some good moments and isn't complete trainwreck like Rings of Power.

Idk bro I find rings of power a lot more watchable cuz most of the hyper cringe stuff is limited to a couple scenes per episode and at least a few of the characters are moderately interesting or likeable.
