The reality is though it’s not pay to win.

Anyone that plays the game and unlocks achievements will get the experience boost for twink leveling.

If you spend 500 and don’t unlock the achievements you don’t get the experience boost.

As it should be.


That’s why I said they’re calling it that because they want it to seem like a premium service they’re giving out for free.

They could do smart loot and open trade, we saw that they can do whatever they want and change things of arpg Diablo game how they want. And again its not offical, no offical confirm post.

Balance? There is no balance - when you have smart loot, you can't trade what was "smartlooted".

There is something about end game there?

Smart-loot defeats the purpose of open trade.

It takes its place basically.

It doesnt takes its place because game is losing social element, and smart loot is not giving anything extra to the game its making game more shallow compared to game with open trading and no smart loot.

What purpose does trade have if every item you drop is for the character you’re playing?

What would you need to trade for?

There’s either going to be A) limited trade - such as gems/whatever or No trading.

Chara class you play many others will play same class also, and you have 10 slots for gear, so you trade with other playes that are playing same class, you wont drop all bis items so you can trade to get them. This is the case if there is smart loot and open trade at the same time, if not then its much better to have open trade than smart loot as i explained(one of the reasons) in previous post why.

I agree no smart-loot and open trade is the best experience for me personally and the point of ARPG's

but smart-loot has been confirmed and they've now hinted towards some sort of limited trading being available.

We are going to go in circles but if I can drop all my characters gear in ~5 days of farming with smart-loot there's no reason for trade to exist because that means if it did you'll get your BiS gear in the first 24 hours assuming pretty average luck.

If they make high drop chances and easy to roll good stats on items then yeah people would get fast bis items with open trade and smart loot, but if they make balanced or lower drop chances and many stats to roll then we could have smart loot and open trading at the same time, they could do it if they want to. I understand that you are focused on whats alredy known i am saying that it hasnt have to be like that.
