can you explain why it needs to be $42+?
I can't tell if you guys are trolling, or being serious?
https://www.mycablemart.com/help/hdmi_versions.phpHere is roughly a full HDMI Guide.
Also to Further explain the price point, most users are going to purchase there cables at wal-mart for example.
which anything under $42 is Garbage. Ordering online somewhere like newegg or amazon, you can pick up something good for like 14 to 17 bucks.
but for 14 to 17 bucks at wal-mart in store, you will end up getting some Low Quality stuff.
I know that sounds like a terrible explanation, but you get the general idea.
Note: Newer Model HDMI = More Features/Colors ect ect, costs more ect.
Most monitors 2014 and newer will come with a Standard HDMI 1.2
Most Monitors 2018 and newer will come with a Standard HDMI 1.4 , However Even lower end Display ports, would be just as good if not better.
