You do?

I'm planning on making a javazon here for solo sf p8 hc, with the changes to the javazon, should you do a dual build now? I used to just do pure light with 20 valk but the light synergies kind of got kicked in the nuts, so I'm thinking ;

20 Poison Jav
20 Plague
20 Valk (Will be changed once I farm enough gear)
20 CS
20 A synergy?

What do you guys think?

well as soon as you play without muling items or runes, going for a single type of dmg is always a bad idea because you cant get past immunes. ofc you can run past them, but that is not a satisfying playstyle imo (personal preference though)... for reference: souls in A5 hell are immune to poison as well as lightning, so Javazon really has to hope finding killable monsters in these areas

maybe. havent played a melee oriented ama yet, so i dont know how strong fend is. the problem i see is that for fend you need to go into melee range (this means running towards them through a bunch of lightning bolts instead of running away and kiting) and opposed to plague/lightnikg fury/charged strike you also need a high-dmg weapon instead of something that only has some skill bonus.
again: i dont know if this is possible, but it sounds very hard.
on the other hand, you might just exit and reload until you get another type of monsters...
idk

This is my favorite route, mostly because it is more fun than jabbing things to death. Unsure if they fixed fend, but yeah, 1 PT jab usually takes care of immunes, but not quickly.

It's hard to get phsy damage up and balance life for Java side, but since always at distance, and many Java require high dex, it works better than it sounds. I usually go MS or GA, but with bow benefits increase strafe could be viable too. Cold takes a lot of mana and I think synergy to get damage. Harmony bow works for all the magic damage, but at higher player settings it's weak (run fast tho). Upped WWS also works well once amp is cast
