Hondata s300 chip placed into the p28 ecu.

Made some adjustments to get it running smoothly, with nice air fuel ratios.

Staying off boost to break in the engine so I set boost cut at 2 psi.

Next up:
MOT inspection
Alignment

Long time no update.

Did some driving off boost to break in the engine and check for errors etc.

Solved a few minor issues.

1. Small leak oil pan gasket. Had a felpro and bought an OEM honda gasket now, problem solved.
2. Passenger side power window not working (turned out the plug inside the door was pinned incorrectly, took me almost a full day to find this lmao)
3. Some very weird electrical problems due to a bad ground wire near the kick panel drivers side. Found this problem pretty quick because I checked the electrical schematics and found out that all things that gave me problems led to the same ground.

My tuner did a remote tune for me to break in the engine and do some driving before I visit him for DYNO DAY!

And went for a MOT inspection, no problems at all!! Official legally on the roads now :D
I asked the owner of the garage if I could do the alignment myself because I never did this. And he let me :)

DYNO DAY!!!!

Very happy with this result!
Booked a 4 hour tuning session on the dyno, and this is the result:

High boost (1.5 bar/22 psi) = 343hp & 402nm

Low boost (spring pressure wastegate 1 bar/15 psi) = 294hp & 324nm

We ran into just two small issues during full boost runs. My spark plugs needed a slightly tighter gap, it was misfiring at full boost.
Second problem was hot IAT (intake air temperatures). Unfortunately this resulted in lower power results than what I could achieve on the road. That's why we also did some street tuning after the dyno session.
Intake temps were 60 degrees celcius (or 140F).

Other than that it went great and I am very happy, it drives like an absolute beast being a small, lightweight and rigid car like this.

Had a blast driving back home!

When I came home I did a little inspection and everything looked good.

The only thing I didn't like was my shifter. I think itll be nice on trackdays, not on the streets. I will be swapping it out for a shorter throw.

My tuner said he would've used a GT30/35 turbo for 450-500+ hp because the engine is capable of way more power.
But I think the GT28 is just fine. It's very fun to drive, can't imagine going bigger and waiting for it to spool up. It's a nice little toy as it is right now

Random exhaust pics.

I will be swapping out the rear muffler. It sounds nice and deep (not ricey/cheap), but it is loud. Too loud for me to come home late and leave home early.

Will be swapping it out for a rear muffler with built in valve soon. (varex muffler)

2,5 inch downpipe.
3 inch from downpipe all the way to the rear muffler.

I would rather use a 3'' downpipe, but there is not much space so I didn't bother for now. I'm sure it flows good enough.

Current set up:
Go-autoworks downpipe
Vibrant 3 inch resonator
Custom made 3 inch piping
Magnaflow 3 inch rear muffler
Pretty sure the center muffler is a magnaflow aswell, but not too sure on that

Something happened!

I was driving around town and suddenly I smelled coolant.

Shortly after I noticed my coolant temperature gauge was rising so I pulled over.
When I looked under the hood I noticed one small coolant hose popped. It was an old hose I has to reuse because I did not have the correct hose at the time.

Luckily I found the problem really fast, my temp gauge was nowhere near red line so no damage was done to the engine.

But after a few days of driving my ECU suddenly threw a check engine code, my speedometer also stopped working.

I opened the Hondata app and this is what it said:

When I removed the wiring connector from the sensor I noticed coolant leaked into the connector causing a short circuit.

It made sense to me because the popped hose was directly above the plug. :)

I cleaned the connector and sensor. After that I plugged it back in, easy fix!

Yeah my cluster is still dusty. Will clean it asap :p
