Turned out the wiring loom I bought came off a right hand drive (RHD) Honda Civic, that's why it didn't fit at all.

But I found the correct wiring loom now! It even has the plugs for an electric roof, mirrors and power windows. exactly what I need.

It looks pretty good overall, but someone messed with the wiring at the headlights. Looks like someone tried to wire in ''US-lights'' and did a bad job.

I decided to cut a piece off my old wiring loom and solder it on to my new loom. I will be removing all wrapping/tape and will re-tape it.

Update!

The engine is in! didn't use an engine hoist, put it in the same way as I took the old one out.
Jacked up the car, dragged the engine underneath, lowered the car, bolted up the mounts.

Time to bolt everything up now!! Very excited.

Black valve cover definitely suits this car better imo.

Installed radiator, moroso oil pan and some other small bits.

Also checking out how this intercooler is going to sit. It seems like I will need to make some brackets my own.

Bleeding my clutch here

Looks like i'm having some issues with the intercooler piping.

My windshield wiper fluid reseroir is touching the piping. That's why its sitting lower on the drivers side.

The bumper will probably hide this , but I know its there. I will have to remove or relocate the reservoir.

Messy piping or not centered intercoolers are a big turn off for me.

Intercooler is just hanging there. Will fab up some brackets soon.
Will also paint it black, stealth mode!

Time to make some brackets for my intercooler.

Found some spare pieces of metal

Sanded down and drilled holes in it to reduce some weight.
The bottom brackets came with the intercooler. They will not hold the weight of the intercooler but im using them to prevent it from tilting

not the prettiest, but itll do the job

Painted on some anti rust coating, will paint it black soon

I also cranked the engine without my oil return line hooked up to check if theres oil going to the turbo, and there is!
I unplugged my injectors while doing this ofcourse.

I noticed my starter sometimes seizes up. I checked all grounds and sanded down the surfaces beneath them but the problem still occurs.
Removed the starter and took it home. Used a spare battery to give it some juice and noticed the bendix just sticks uit but isn't turning sometimes.
Ordered a new starter, will install soon

Still need to shorten the return line or use a different AN fitting. It has to make an awkward loop because of the downpipe but it's already working as its supposed to.

Hooked up the water lines for the turbo aswell. One of them into the go-autoworks radiator.

And installed the Tial wastegate + screamer pipe

Up next is painting the front end and intercooler brackets in undercoating.

I also installed my intercooler to check if my bumper still fits. It came as no surprise that it didn't.

I will trim my bumper a little bit to make it fit again soon.

Got my bumper to fit :)

But I noticed my intercooler sits like 1cm / half an inch off center. If you look closely you can see it.
I will adjust the brackets to fix this soon.

I have run in to another problem.

This must be an manufacturing error. My downpipe is pointing upwards and will never line up nicely to the exhaust without cutting it up.

I will be taking the car to a shop to get this fixed. I don't like this flexible pipe either because it is very stiff, so that is going to be replaced also.

Bought and installed a 3'' stainless steel catback with vibrant resonator and magnaflow muffler
Not running a catalytic converter because I don't have to. the car is from 1994 and only 1996 and younger cars need one :)

Will have the vibrant resonator welded in with v-band clamps. These clamps are just too awesome.
