people tell me there is a setting to activate this within guild but i cannot find such a setting

it will make guild-chats more alive because people need some time to realize something was posted inside and they reply
back but this takes so much time

could be faster&&better if you put notifications in there too

you can activate guild topic notifications for some browsers here: https://forums.d2jsp.org/settings.php?c=35
otherwise you could just manually track the topics you are interested in tracking

You can track guild topics, if that's what you are referring to.

thx i didn't even know this worked for guild-chats too
however i'd be much happier if this was a default setting because many users will not know about this and not have it activated

but this is better than nothing i guess so i just activated it for the guild i'm in

Well it works for every guild topic as well as polls, I think the regular instant messenger has it's own alert or notification. I have never used that one so I can't tell you if that will work the same way. Not sure which one you are asking about
