I skipped last season (26) for the first time in 12 seasons. Adding EN was not enough to entice me, and now that its here to stay I will get to try it anyways. Season 26 just didn't have enough changes to the playstyle and strength of different builds to make me want to play.

Complete opposite for 27. The season theme this time and the changes to some of the builds (Wiz mainly) has me very excited. Tons of builds that were always complete trash are going to be near the top this season. That is the kind of thing that makes we want to play so I can experience a new build that is actually going to be good.

I haven't mained Wiz in a while so I am definitely starting with that. Every Wiz set looks like it will be near the top tier of builds so it will be fun leveling up. No matter what they give you as starter set or what set items you get, the gear acquiring phase with Wizard will be very entertaining.

Anyone else coming back for this epic season?

I never skip a season. D3 is still fun playing it for a short time. Get to guardian and end somewhere between 750 - 1000 paragon.
I liked this season for getting high gems for augment at the beginning of the season. Downside i got my goal faster then usual.
Like the upcoming season as well. Normally i join PTR but i let myself be surprised because this season was an easy one.

Idk. 20, 22, 24, and 25 were the best seasons imo.
Earth monk and ENs turned me off of 26.
Will have to wait for final patchnotes for 27.

I ll be playing. Saw some interesting builds out there and that angelic thing puts a nice new touch. I skipped most of the d3 seasons because well it gets boring without trading but i think there is a real chance i stick this time. That necro mega build was super cool but i know for sure it’s getting nerfed. Maybe blood nova instead

When patch notes first came out I was super excited about Wiz cause of all the changes, but after PTR the Wiz is barley in the top tier of builds now, and the ones that are there are too squishy for me to want to try.

What is everyone planning to main? I was thinking of starting with DH, Monk, or Barb. Not decided between those 3 yet.

I’m going to play this season for sure.
