For solo I usually pump two hit back or double strike depending on class, then the rest in salvation for heals, if you use a heal charm. If not you could do both melee skills. But thats just me.

Def solo and I don't mess with any healing. I have Regen charms and transmute so I just wait, I thought Paladin had a strong attack like the warriors power strike ?

It's going be highly dependant on your playstyle as well as gear. I personally don't use powers trike just because it only hits 1 mob, and my weapons are strong enough to 1-3 shot most mobs without it.

But since you don't heal, you could definitely take any secondary, or even tertiary melee skill to replace salvation to make your killing for seemless.

Ok tyvm. I was under the impression you wanted to stick to class skills because of the bonus or negative bonus from certain skills, guess that's not the case. Appreciate it

I will always try to stick to the best options for me based on my class, because as you said, they charge slower/faster depending on how close you are to that class. So ill typically rotate between either double strike or two hit back for solo melee, and I always rock salvation since I like having the ability to heal on melee & build proficiency.

I used to do two hit back and double strike but found that pumping one as high as I can seemed more beneficial then having two skills that charge slower.

Yeah I have been doing both on my samurai I will try just pumping one, that's awesome.

I use:

Revenge (Pally Ability) ... also, this can be used on well monster, not like Two Hit Back.
Salvation (Guardian Ability) ... because I use heal charms and Stat armor, No Enhanced Effect armor and I have a level 45 Plate with +38 Intelligence while my main charm is 30 str (lvl 15) which I use to level 50 and use +47 Str that I recently found, in conjunction with level 40 Longsword.

Another way:

Retribution + Revenge with +stat armor / charm... Revenge is like Powerstrike, very good vs single EPs or single spawn, Revenge covers any 2+ that spawn in the first two columns.

You have to test these out for yourself. I prefer the top one, but the 2nd option works just as well... also, make sure the tier of your armor is around your level if using +Stat.

EDIT: you can get Revenge up fast, 4 ability points = 48%, Retribution + 6 Ability points = 40% and by level 45... so you can choose either +2 in Retribution (51%) by 55, or up Revenge + 2 (66%)

No... Revenge is not more powerful, but, the Attack covers the first 2 COLUMNS, not the last column.

You can get Revenge up fast, 4 ability points = 48%, Retribution + 6 Ability points = 40% and by level 45... so you can choose either +2 in Retribution (51%) by 55, or up Revenge + 2 (66%)
