I am using photoshop cs3. I built my sig with multiple layers and want to keep working on changing the design and possibly animating it or my avater. I can't really seem to find a thread that points to a video or document specifically for d2jsp's image size limits. Really restricts what I can do, but I think it would be good practice to squeeze the most out of 50 kb for my avatar and 70 kb for my sig. So my general questions are:
1. Should I learn gimp? I know CS3 is old, but didn't know if it is even worth going to gimp.
2. How do people get gif avatars under 50 kb? Is each frame only 50 kb or is the whole gif that size? Same goes for 70 kb on the sig
3. How can I keep the size of 400x150 for my sig, but keep it under 70 kb? At that size my sig is 175 kb which is too big (i thinkl).
