When it comes to romantic attraction and mate selection?

I never thought of it before tbh, it wasn't until I started to read about the incels that it was brought to my attention. Apparently, a lot incels think that women tend to prefer white guys as mates, and that this makes them racist. They claim that men in general are more open to dating women from other races.

Do you notice this yourself? I am an asian female and yes I do like white guys. I have felt embarrassed by this for quite a while. I also feel a bit guilty, especially towards men of my own race. But I really don't think I am being racist per se, I just like what I like, I can't help myself.

Anyway would love your thoughts.

Women care less about looks than men do. However, it's a fact that every woman fantasizes about banging a black dude, a suave Latin guy, or a European with an accent. All of the top male porn stars come from those categories.

Well, not me.

I want a Nordic-looking white guy with a pure Canadian accent. I will accept nothing else.

sometimes, very rarely, i find a question i am actually qualified to answer this is one of those so i will give my best ! sorry upfront because this will be tldr as fuck

so i googled "racism" and got this: "prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized"
first of all the red part is bullshit. racism is the same if a white hates a black or vice versa, so we will ignore that. the problem is that other parts of this definition arent holding up either. for example, im white and do i have "prejudices against other races"? well of course i do blacks statistically commit most crimes (in eastern europe where i live, we dont have blacks but we do have gypsies who are even worse). as someone who is good at math and statistics, it would be a mistake, from a scientific viewpoint, not to feel prejudice against races, as most of the time thats all generalization is, a behavior based on statistics. nba player is going to be black, nobel physicist is gonna be an ashkenazi jew, doctor will be asian etc. races are different and most generalizations and racial stereotypes are there for a reason, so dont feel bad about that ! anyway, since this definition is shit, let me give the real one: racism is basically just hating a different race, for the sole reason of being different. i dont hate gypsies for being different. i hate them because all they do is steal, rape, and murder. and anyone who has interacted with a gypsy will probably not consider me racist because its their fault everyone hates them, not mine and i might be somewhat racist by todays standards, although i hate only a few specific races and racism is a generalized term but fine, whatever. but just having prejudices against different races without any hate? thats not racism, thats basic statistics

the whole reason for the paragraph above was to show that most of the time, prejudices are based on science, not racism. races are different, and the best way to solve racism is not to try to make all races same, but to accept racial differences as something natural and to focus on what good things a race has, because they all do have good and bad things. and now ehm...speaking of the good things. ive watched statistics from dating sites and based on a number of dating matches between people based on race, the results were these:

♥ most people on dating sites DO NOT prefer their own race if presented with a choice. this was a weird and counterintuitive one, but the explanation goes like this: on dating sites, people go for appearance and variety, in that order. in general, people do prefer their own race, but this is based on many factors. you meet more people of your own race, you think the same (for example white men look better than asian men but earn less, but in asia that is a very important factor etc), there are more reasons but basically when choosing a life mate, people generally go for their own race
♥ most favored girls were asians by far. theres a reason to this as well. asian girls are neotenic, meaning they retain child-like features into adulthood. thats why anime are popular, because people realized men like that and are focusing on it. i mean not every asian girl will look like minami aizawa or something, but generally they *are* cuter and for a longer time, meaning they have a prettier face and age slower compared to other races, and looks and age are the two main factors when it comes to male -> female preferences. the female asian supremacy is so clear that theres a specific term for non-asian men who like asian girls, "yellow fever"
♥ the only men who didnt prefer asian girls were asian men (they went for latinas). in this case, id say variety was the main reason. also, asian girls from some countries are unbearable honestly and asian men know that (the specific country im talking about here is china, and trait has nothing to do with race, but with communism for 100 years. basically chinese girls are weird af due to the 100-year selection pressure of a failed commie system, and chinese men know that. and china is the asian country with by far the highest population)
♥ speaking of asian men, NO RACE favored asian men. it appears that in the case of men, neoteny is not really a good thing and girls go for more manly features and dont just want their guy to look young. most favored men were white, by women of all races except one (black women favored black men, reason being they went for the highest testosterone race and that matters the most for r selection type blacks have). white girls showed some tendency towards black men as well, not just white men, so it wasnt really clear cut as asian girls vs everyone else, and jewish girls showed a bigger tendency towards black men than white girls. asian girls showed a much higher tendency towards white men than towards any other race, nearly on the level of the yellow fever i was talking about. simply put, white man/asian woman was the most favored pairing. also note that asians and blacks dont like each other so this might have been a part of the decision
♥ although black women favored black men, no race favored black women. there is again a very interesting study on this that shows the reason for it. bluntly put, black women are generally uglier than other races. but theres a caveat to this about racism. what makes blacks ugly are their noses and mouths. but when they watched only pretty black girls, men of other races showed no negative selection. basically most black women had the nose of george floyd and werent favored by men. but those who had the nose of lets say halle berry, were rated absolutely the same as girls of other races, showing that this wasnt about racism, but physical appearance alone

i hope i didnt bore you with this :cry: basically this is nothing to be embarrassed about and nothing is wrong with you. asian women prefer white men and white men prefer asian women, so you will easily find a partner

also sadly i cant really answer the main question from your topic, as that reeeally depends on the country and no one bothered to group people from all countries to see it that i know of, and you couldnt do that on dating sites to begin with my guess is that women are more racially selective as they dont choose based on looks alone like men do, and some races of men...lets just say dont have a good reputation on being good husbands and parents (jacobs loyalty mission from mass effect 2 *cough cough*). for one night stands i would assume much less racism so my guess is that the difference between men and women would be lower here, but still id say yes, women are probably more racially selective

but tldr of my post from above would be that its not really racist to have a preference, i mean men have it as well (towards asian girls). but more importantly, if nature dictates a certain group of people wins a certain competition, going against that is going against nature and that never ends up well (although thats what people nowadays do, for example "lets put 30% of black actors in a movie" is about as retarded as "lets put 30% of asians in the nba because we all need to be the same"). we are not the same. thats why incels are incels, because they cry about things that they cant change instead of changing the things they can

people have preferences even for the smallest of things and races are so vastly different its actually weird not to have a preference for example i have a massive preference towards dark haired women. and if someone calls me...blondist (??) for that, well he can go fuck himself i guess

They are less. Women are by nature and by evolution much more sociable, even interested in different genes.
