Tyranny of a minority

This devastating epilogue for the image of the United States is the product of the tyranny of a minority permitted by an electoral system outrageously favorable to the most conservative States.
It made that a president widely beaten in the popular vote, Donald Trump, designated three judges selected by a lobby, and that the latter were then confirmed by aSenate which is a distorted reflection of the country.

What to think of the editor of the judgment against abortion, Samuel Alito, when he justifies this reversal of jurisprudence on behalf of the one who had ended racial segregation? The judgment of June 24 does not devote a new right, it removes one.
There is an assertion that abortion is not "deeply rooted in the history and traditions of the nation". Note also the fact thattwo of the judges appointed by Donald Trump had provided before their confirmation by the Senate, to pass the obstacle, that they considered Roe v. Wade as acquired ...

Since it was in-between 85 - 13 & 55 - 39 I cut the crap with a 75% who could let it go but with some (minimal) restrictions.

Untrue. I complain about a lot of posters on here though.
And, at the moment, the left.

I mean, there's even people from other countries, in here complaining about the U.S. LOL

Big difference.

So no complaints, just 55% of the population you have an issue with.

The question is whether the Supreme Court made the textually correct opinion. I haven't seen a single person critical of the decision yesterday critique the actual opinion on its merits.

The Constitution clearly does not prohibit laws restricting abortion, and there is no convincing argument to be made that it does. Roe v Wade was an abomination widely criticized by left and right. The issue has been returned to the legislative bodies, where it properly belongs.

Americans now have the opportunity, at both the state and federal level, to practice democracy and make their voices heard.

More than that. LOL

You're confusing the population with the U.S. This country was made, long ago.
At the moment, we have a lot of idiots running around.

Why there's even some idiots, threatening Supreme Court justices, for actually doing the job we pay them to do.

If that wasn't bad enough, we have some Senators and Representatives, running around, inciting to riot, WHILE trying to convict another man, who didn't do it, for the same thing.
Today's idiots are just a phase. Their own stupidity will weed them out eventually.

But you suggesting that I hate the bottle, because it currently has some bad milk inside... is truly ludicrous.

Exactly.
The Supreme Court has done an excellent job, even against incredible pressure to do otherwise.

You want to "critique" the U.S., these recent decisions by the Supreme Court, ARE what the US is all about.
Standing there in a gale of idiocracy, and doing the job we asked of them. These men and women are even risking their lives, and those of their families, to remain true to their oaths.
