You misunderstood like what 90% of people here are saying. Nobody cares is it like D2 or not.
Problem is it is like D3.

I am a critic of D3 and didn't like a lot about it but as far as arpgs go it was still enjoyable. I am sure I will find plenty of fun in D4 even if it stumbles and ends up like D3. I just hope they don't get lazy and toss 6 piece sets in as BiS. When D3 did that it was waiving the white flag.

I will either buy D4 at half the retail price on sale $25-30$ because it’s Dark and continuation of Sanctuary Lore.
Or
I will just watch It’s cinematics n cutscenes n other people playing it on YouTube when I’m eating food or relaxing.
Not paying more than $30 for D4 unless it’s got lots of freedoms n trades n PvP like D2R
