Bro you're missing out. That is THE build. But you're hardcore so you do have to play defensive i get it, but it looks to me like most of these nova sorcs don't get touched even in P8.
Kill speed might be a bit low, but they're pretty damn safe with pretty damn good kill speed.


tbh not many times, but cant account for client crashes, so sometimes try to overcompensate
esp with max ES, the damage i take is mostly low. if im not playing with someone that has insight tho, i can def feel the difference
so getting insight on merc could be huge
time to figure out 105 fcr now :p

should i still rock vipermagi, or ormus?
& since im dropping stormshield, should i ber armor or just 5/5 facet?

I've seen 20 chaos mobs slapping on an ES/Nova sorc and nothing happens. Build is actually really good for safety.
Any char could get popped at anytime, I feel like ES nova might be one of the stronger ones to take on a game crash.
And you'll love insight/infin combo.

Some have said they like a merc who can murder immunities even harder to kill speed, but then you have to chug mana pots all day.

I personally don't like that idea because I think in this game especially you should stay in your lane to the best of your ability.
My hammerdin doesn't do wave2 of baal, so I run chaos. Whatever your light sorc has an issue with, you probably shouldn't be there.

You're looking for -res. Ormus IMO isn't worth it for what you lose when you take off the vmaig.
You can put whatever you want into the vmagi, but I would hold off making a change until you see where your new statline is.
Ber is expensive, but no doubt good. If you were SCL I would say facet it.

to confirm, if im maxing es + telek, i only really need to worry about having poison res capped, right? o.o

I wouldn't bet your HC life on it.
Someone else here knows better, but I would tread the waters slowly.
