Dress codes have always been a thing. I went to a public school and they wouldn't let us wear shorts when it got hot out.

literally no one is surprised. they try to ban books they don't like. they limit free speech at schools. they oppose women's rights. they want to teach their religious delusions over actual science and history. they try to establish a judiciary that follows religious rule. they hate the lgbtq community. they hate foreigners and people of other religions. this is just one further step into towards their christian fundamentalist society.
