I have a terrible obsolete computer. I have heard that prices on new computers have come down some. In your estimation is it time to buy a new computer?

I like to play Path of the Exile, I also use my computer to surf the net, email, and to file time sheets and expense reports with my employer. The minimum requirements to run Path of he Exile are:

CPU: x86-compatible 2.6 GHz or better.
RAM: 4 GB.
HDD: 32 GB available space.
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti or ATI Radeon HD 7850 or better.
OS: Windows 7 or 8.
DirectX: Version 11.
Screen Resolution: 720p.
Network: Broadband Internet connection.

I hear the following components are good:

The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is a high-end graphics card by NVIDIA
The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Elite gaming Desktop Processor

I presently have an obsolete sound system. So, I would of coarse like a good new sound system and sound card. I presently use Windows 10 as an operating system. I hear overclocking the processor can be helpful. But, I also hear that overclocking will require a good cooling system. I would like to have plenty of USB ports. Also, as an option, I would like to have a disk drive capable of playing DVD's.

I would like to get something I can use for a few years without becoming obsolete.

So the suggestions the guys have given are great!

You could also build a cheap apu system from ryzen which will handle poe nicely. Then you can always add a gpu to the system down the line. The rtx 40 series will be about soon so u could always grab one of those.

Looks like the only option is a 3090 ti otherwise group play will be a slideshow

why not 3?
