So he's not washed now?

When was he ever washed?

Guy had one "down" season (where he was still the only player in the league to average 20/10 pts/ast) after a major injury that he clearly never recovered from. Didn't even get an off-season camp last year to workout and practice.

Let's not forget that up until that injury in the playoffs, he was absolutely dominating with the Nets.

James Harden said he lost 100 pounds, either the man just loves lying or my man gained 50 more in the off-season eating wings at the various strip clubs & thus needed to lose those 50 plus an additional 50.

If you're looking at his PPG only you gotta dig deeper homie. He stopped shooting 22+ times per game when he went to Brooklyn and dropped it to like 16-17 FGA per game. But he also dramatically increased his assists and became a better facilitator and truly elite PG. His first playoff run in Brooklyn he dominated though before that injury, he was putting up MVP Harden numbers.

Much of the decrease has to do with the fact that he didn't NEED to shoot so much being on teams with other superstars. Playing with KD, Kyrie, and now Embiid (and Maxey) he doesn't need to take that many shots and is asked to be the true PG of these teams.

I completely expect him to lead the NBA in assists per game this season. He was #2 last year and with an actual off-season to train and gel with the team he shoukd be a dime MACHINE with these scorers around him.

Did you watch the press conference? He was messing with them when he said that. Embiid was next to him laughing.

You think I’m sitting around in the off season looking at PHILADELPHIA 76ERS PRESS CONFERENCES? Y’all ain’t even got a chance to reach the Conference Finals my guy, let alone face us.
