Just saying Fultz, Simmons, and Thybulle all have one common denominator.

Two of them are gone?

The Pistons acquired veteran guard Kemba Walker from the New York Knicks as part of a three-team trade involving the Charlotte Hornets that also saw Detroit acquire the draft rights to Jalen Duren on Thursday night.

Walker and the Pistons are expected to discuss a contract buyout that will allow him to become a free agent, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

[Moore] #NBA source: The # "aren't trading to trim salary to use on non-taxpayer MLE," which means potential free agent forward P.J. Tucker almost surely won't become a 76er.

[Zach Lowe] Teams are already operating under, not the assumption, but ‘we need to prepare for the contingency’ that Kevin Durant is available via trade in 6-7 days

Gotta be fair, respect to Nets for swinging for the fences these past couple of years. They tried by getting old Joe Johnson, KG, Pierce, Deron etc and it failed.
Now they tried to pair Kyrie, Durant and Harden, it didn't work. Mid season trade a former MVP and Simmons just sits out entire season.
Super unlucky but hey, at least they are trying to hit homeruns,

Honestly the Nets should have just kept Jarret Allen and packeged their other pieces (LaVert, Prince, Vezenkov, picks) for quality role player depth. They also never should've given away anything to bring on DJ's dead weight

Had they not gotten so greedy for star power, they'd have probably won 1 or 2 chips (instead of Milwaukee and/or Golden State this year)
