I've dated a two and I've dated a nine. I'm happily together with what I often describe as "a 7 objectively, but since I fall for freckles, brown hair and eyes it's a solid 9 for me". She gained a lot of weight during our relationship and my only concern is her health (current BMI is 26). I could not care less about her looks. We fit together, we work things out, appreciate each other for our similarities as well as our uniqueness, and so on.
She's the first one I have dated who has a bit of extra body, so to say, but I feel like I should have done this from the get-go. As my friend described me in his circle, I like them "thicc" apparently
I always considered looks important only for the first moments together. Strictly biologically speaking, there needs to be sufficient physical attraction to, you know, go at it, but the male requirement there is rather low. We're biologically programmed to be able to stick it in apples if times are dire >.>
