So as a bunch of nerds I'm sure many of our family members ask us to help make their pc faster.

Given that I don't have time to spend hours fixing what's actually wrong with their pc I usually just go into their bios, make sure XMP is turned on (it usually isnt) then change blck from 100 to 101 since every computer ive ever run into can handle a 1% oc and call it a day.

Lol but the thing is, I don't want to get the call when their computer starts blue screening because of ram errors.

Always slap in an SSD and make sure the system has adequate ram. Even old dual-core systems 15 years old will do most basics tasks at a decent pace without issues.

You're 100% right, but this takes time.

I'm trying to find the optimal way to actually and or fake like I'm helping for 15 mins and call it good for Auntie sue who keeps trying to make you fat and come to her church.
