That's the main issue for me. He was a good player for a long time, but he wasn't particularly elite like A. Peterson

Yep. He's a classic has to wait a bit to get in guy.

One of the funnest Bills games I ever went to was when Gore was on the Bills and we faced the Redskins in 2019 with A. Peterson. Gore vs Peterson ..The Bills smoked them 24-9 but we got to see Peterson run for over a 100 yards while Gore ran a whopping 15 yards on 11 carries. Also was the last "redskins" game in buffalo before the name change.

soo..

Hall of famer...I'll allow it. 1st ballot...Somebody's bribing someone if this dude ends up 1st ballot.

Dude has been consistent for like 20 years in the nfl it would be a crime if he wasn’t first , I mean what other rbs stay in the league that long putting up numbers only other I can think of is AP.

I think you’re right actually I’m prob being biased being a 49ers fan, but looking at the list he prob won’t get in 1st time but definitely deserves HOF

Agreed he’s definitely a hall of famer no doubt! I think he’s just right outside the first ballot tier

Easy first ballot.

I remember watching him tear his knee in college after having a phenomenal career and people being very scared. To see what kind of career he put together after that and what kind of teammate he was speaks such volumes of him.
