some years ago, i watched my first mini-serie with Kate Winslet as Mildred Pierce (6 episodes if i remind well) and i realy appreciated the concept.

Then, i watched a lot more and i still enjoying it !

Maybe i will add some text later but highly recommend Primal, Calls and The White Lotus. Yellowjackets is maybe something for you when you liked Lost.

i like a lot psychological series but not in documentaries ... i started Wild wild country but its not my thing, thanks anyway

Primal is an anime serie and seems not a short-show also since there is 2 seasons.

What do you mean by short shows? Must it be finished already or max 1 season or how do you define "short show"?

Yes short-show or mini-serie is only 1 season with an ending (like a very long movie^^). All in my list in 1st post are one of em

i already told you about the lost room, 9-hour long miniseries

and also unknown persons, they only did 1 short season.

there is a non-scifi miniseries right now that is pretty good, if you liked the Wire u will like We Own This City on hbo

It was great.

Going to watch Waco, even though I've watched it years ago.
Then may follow up with We Own This City.
May attempt chernobyl again as well, don't believe I finished it.
