by the way, is this setup viable for holyfire? or holy shock damage output is way higher?

or adding to general FOH caster build just 2 dreams and casting non-stop these fists.

Also have you considered for your build act 5 merc?

I found FoH + Confuse procs really shine in p8, so zero issues. Much faster than standard Dream Zeal and it deals with the mobs that FoH cannot handle very well with Zeal + Holy Shock.

FoH doesn't effect cows so you're going to be meleeing them.

Edited and added more detail on the 48 FCR setup.

I like it a lot comboed with faith merc and BotdZ for the huge leech.

I also suspect Doom is BiS for HC players, especially ones that play on P8 due to the Holy Freeze safety. Only annoyance is the repairs if you melee a lot. Better for a caster focused playstyle, using Melee as backup and for bosses.

48 FCR P1 not much damage loss because you still 1 shot everything but bosses are slower. The less physical damage is noticeable in P8 when you melee.

Since this is a pvm build, whats ur mf?

You know what's interesting is it can actually get a shitload of MF if that's important to you in PvM thanks to most of the gear having MF on it. I had a Fanaticism Dream Zealer in d2LoD using Last Wish, it was well over 1k MF. Even the merc was decked in MF and slapped with Delirium, Infinity, Chains of Honor. It would be even better today with FoH.

btw what do you think about zeal pala? is this any good at all? or dream is just way better? i dont get, what the purpose of zeal fanatiscism pala. He cant deal with density?

Classic Dream Zeal using self Fana got buffed this patch too thanks to Holy Shock buff so it's still good just like it used to be if you want to leave FoH out of it and spec into Zeal if that's what you mean. More Physical damage for sure but you don't get the screen clearing AoE.

You can actually achieve the strongest (Infinity*) Merc in the game with this setup, by reaching max frames per attack with a CV Infinity using self Fana, aim for level 36 after skillers. Treachery + IAS jew'd Andy's. Or use Delirium on him for massive CC now that CTD bug is fixed. Using Delirium pre D2R crashed your game if he tried to Jab in bone fetish form.

edit: yea Dream Zeal > Zealer for PvM no question if you have the highrunes to throw at Dream.
Probably a properly built pure Zealer would slap it in PvP though

i meant leaving dual dream and spec to classic zealer and i dont know whats the benefit of such zealer
