Pvm hardcore is always a lot of fun as long as you don’t DC,
Pvp softcore can be fun,
Pvp HLD hardcore can be fun if legit dueling vs non hammerdins.
Pvp LLD/mld hardcore is always fun and cheap.

Pvm hardcore is my favorite game of all time, it’s soooo soothing to slay monesters and have to actually pay attention to amp/might/Fanta combos or lower res/conviction around literally any ele dmg... deciding against more dmg to get a little tankier or balancing block vs vita or pdr vs dr or how much Lres to stack overcap so you don’t get gibbed by conviction souls... block vs death lords... crafting godly ammies and rings, seeing those griffons or fathoms drop and the excitement of IDing them, or rerolling gcs...

D2r isn’t perfect, but it’s a blast, maybe I’m just easily entertained.

great take. I'm the same way. just enjoying the game for what it is even after all this time.

Yesterday, I was leveling my paladin with holy fire through normal in hc. Everything was dying like a fly so I thought, why respec then? Beat normal with a holy fire zealot. There were no baal runs. I thought I might level faster just by playing the game. I went on to beat act1-3 with holy fire and ginther's rift. Only in act4 nm, my damage started to fall off even with a blessed aim merc I've been using since normal act2. Pala lvling is ridiculiously easy in HC, that's why I didn't make any videos. I'll make one about hell ancients and that's it.

Guys, not a summoner is easiest to level untwinked but a paladin.
