Looking to upgrade or to see if i even really need to upgrade help appreciated :)

currently running:

AMD Ryzen 5 3rd Gen - RYZEN 5 3600 Matisse (Zen 2)
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)
Rosewill Hive Series 550W Modular Gaming Power Supply, 80 PLUS Bronze Certified
Intel 660p Series M.2 2280 1TB PCIe NVMe 3.0
MSI Ventus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Video Card
ASRock B450M PRO4 AM4 AMD Promontory B450 SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

i was thinking about dropping a MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Video Card into this pc and calling it a day as far as upgrades.
also i play on a 24'' ASUS 75hz 1080p monitor - would the 144hz version of the monitor be a worthy upgrade (vg249q) ?

Thank you!

27 inch 144hz + 2k monitor and a 3060ti / 6700xt or better would be good

i'd say get monitor first then decide. you can probably do well with 1080p 144hz atm

27'' was too big i went with a 24.5'' ASUS TUF 144hz 1ms 1920x1080 gsync monitor
optimized my settings for APEX & its running so smooth :)

still considering getting the 750W upgrade to my PSU and the MSI RTX 3060 ventus

I would go for Upgrade on the RAM first, these days 16GB are not enough :D

16GB is plenty unless you are doing editing (if your curious how much ram you are using open task manager and check your usage on your heaviest loads)

I'd go 1440p monitor PSU and GPU
however

CPU is the same as mine and I am considering upgrading to a 5800x so there's that
