Hoping for some help here before I dump my FG...

Looking to figure out if I am going to run WF + Faith Merc or Faith GMB.

Looking to hit 7fpa with Multi. Does the 40 IAS on the WF (Shael + 20 IAS native) count towards the needed 95 IAS assuming level 13 fanaticism?

I have been messing with the d2 ias calculator, just wanting to confirm my calculation.

Yes, the ias on wf adds up.

It's always been debated which deals the most damage, personally i like the traditional setup with grand matron + might/pride act 2 merc. Due to the ignore target's defense, i think that deals the most damage. You get the act 2 merc too which does deal better damage.

The best setup is you use windforce, your merc uses Faith.


Zon has high ED% bonuses but typically low damage from bow.

Being able to use windforce in pvm with high ED really scales your damage potential.

You can either Shael or jah or 40/15ias jewel you’re windforce. Just depends on gear.

both work good, honestly i prefer gmb faith and pride act2 merc

Just looking to budget my way into a faith while transitioning into the IAS gear I need later down the road. i.e. - I am still using Treachery instead of Fort to make up the lack of IAS in other places.

My gut says Faith on Merc is a larger upgrade than Fort now, and getting Faith later.

Current Gear:

GFace + 15 IAS
Treachery
LOH Gloves
Razortail
Raven
Angel Ring & Ammy
Windfury + Shael
Goblin Toe

Yes faith on merc is a bigger upgrade than fort.

You can find some random 30-40 ED jewels and throw them into a 4 socket armor if you can’t afford a fort. Just make sure the jewels don’t have min or max damage on them as well due to the Ed + min/max jewel bug.

Then upgrade to fort when you can.
But it’s not really worth investing into a bowazon for pvm unless you just wanna pvm and don’t care about performance. Bow overall is a poor pvm build.



Additionally, guillames is not a good option for bowa. The deadly strike does little for you because of your high critical strike. And crushing blow works at half effectiveness for ranged attacks.

I have. But pvm is brain dead AF.

And they are significantly worse than hdin or javazon or lightning sorc.

Then you would know it's not a poor performer in pvm
