To merge a glyph they have to not have the same stats. You can't stack the stats

I was stacking all my unspawnable tier 1s just to make a cool ass glyph.
And I lost all of them. Like 7x unspawns cuz I got 3 "???" In a row. Insta poofed em all cuz ofc I guess all wrong.
Like 2 clicks before completing.

Kinda ruined glyphing for me for a while

does this random guessing thing only happen when you're merging just glyphs?

No it happens when you go up in tier from your prof.
I could be wrong cuz im no glyph master. I just dick around with tier 1s
But from what I gather, when you go above your skill level in glyphing u get more ????.

Which makes sense cuz I was technically making an epic tier 1 when I got all those ????s
Which if u look at glyphing prof charts. It is technically in the next tier of prof

kind of right. you get more ?s when you try glyphs that are higher than your prof level. but ? still can happen on any level regardless of prof

Up to 27 different stats can get merged.
You just have meet Rank requirments to be able glyph them into one glyph .
The higher Rank you get the better glyph lvls you can make or merge together more better stats .
In beginning it is hard yes so use lowest Rank requirments that stands what type you can do at first and try medge with 1 tier + 2 together .
Glyphing needs patience.

The reason why it's harder is because the more stats u add together the higher the glyph counts

So if you're rank is rank 5 (Magical T2 should be ur shown minimum)
Now at this point u have 90% successrate (should have) and that is for Magical and Rares (Mystical-mythical = 60-70% if i remember correct)
So when you merge 2 items together, let's say 2x rares for example, rare t2 glyph with life + mana and you want to merge that together with another rare t2 glyph that has int + xp
Now this glyph will count as a Angelic because the total amount of stats equals to 4. (now that is above ur rank, which makes it harder = more ?!?!?)

These ?!?!?! can also remove the full bar sometimes, and they still pop up for me who have rank 45 on tier 3 items.
Yes I do fail t3-t4s even at my rank which SUCKS

This is mildly disheartening.
Haha I want to glyph so bad but the time to prof ratio and susceptibility to fail to top it. And lack of storage possibilities. I feel like you are a legend for even getting your rank there

That's why I only glyph the overspawns I get (within my prof which is 0 )
It gives me a something to do with the overspawns I find and think are kind of cool but aren't worth anything
