Mostly concerned about it overheating while having 2x d2r going since 3060 is what I have in my pc, but now it’s in a. Laptop

If I wait around is there any better deals whether lower price or better parts

I don't think you will find anything cheaper, with those specs.

The best place to "look" for a laptop... is still Newegg and it's excellent navigation. Find the one you want, then find whoever sells it for the cheapest.

For example. You can see my navigation choices at the top...

https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100167732%20601360961%20601286886%20601286876%20601312452%20600553908%20600553909%20600553910%20600136700%20601183480%20600440394%20600337010%2050001315%2050001312%204814%20601400070%20601296069&Order=1

The ONLY spec I don't like about the laptop you linked above... is the only 8GB of RAM.
As for cooling... who knows.
Generally ASUS and MSI make good gaming laptops.
Running a close 2nd would be ACER and Gigabyte.

Overall... if I was buying a gaming laptop... I'd probably go with MSI.

Lastly, keep in mind that thinner laptops with the same specs, will be harder to cool. Or... big and bulky has more room for cooling.

It will be fine, that doesn’t use even close to the same amount of power as a desktop 3060. That’s a low powered laptop 3060 though, hints part of the reason it’s priced for what it is.

Msi has the Higher Quality standard parts / Durability.
There parts also normally include Faster / higher clock rates , compared to there competitors.

Rtx 3050 - Is A Severe budget , High end Social Media ( not for gaming )
Rtx 3060 - Is a Budget level, Entry to Gaming , Can run 1x Diablo II Ressurected on low settings.
Rtx 3070 - Can run 2x Diablo II Ressurected on low settings, or 1x High settings.

8GB is enough for Entry level Gaming PC with a RTX 3060, for low settings.
Note that Diablo II ressurected Uses 3.5GB - 4.2GB of DDR4 Ram on average.

Bestbuy & Newegg are already doing a Warehouse Clearout Sales Event, The prices will not be dropping anytime soon.
( 4th of july weekend ) you may save 10-20$, but thats it.

Sounds like you could really use that savings to upgrade to the Rtx 3070 + 16gb of ram.
