I have had success with 5x10 volume sets at 60% and a few other sets between 70 and 95 depending on the week and where I'm at in the program

Are there any good programs that don't require as much volume

If you’ve had success with a program, why do you want to change it?

Because I'm tired of spending 1.5 hours in the gym 4 days a week on the stuff I don't particularly enjoy doing and the recovery time interferes with the things I do like doing like kettlebell sport , and steel clubs

Than don’t do them…. Seriously dude, if you’re a strength athlete and want to be a strength athlete than do it. If you want to swing clubs around, do that. Specificity in strength training is key..

Also there’s about a bazillion generic 5x5 programs on the web including 5/3/1, mad cow, 555, starting strength etc. All of those are percentage based for higher intensity and lower volume.

You ask some goofy fucking questions.

Asking what's a good strength program that is less volume is a Goofy question? Lol

You realize that an athlete in just about any sport you can think of trains for their sport in conjunction with strength training that is not specific to their sport
Should they give up the weights and spend more time catching footballs and sprinting down a track? Lol

You realize people find success in careers, relationships and many aspects and realms of life all the time and yet....they move on to other things completely or devote less time to things that once consumed them?
What an idiotic question "if you've found success why change?"

"Pick strength or clubs "
Uh no? I can do both if the strength training is less volume.
Why would you suggest I need to do one or the other, lol. What an absolutely idiotic position.

I think you're trying really, really hard to make me look dumb when it's pretty much unanimously you, here. Lmao.

When someone asks for a program, instead of a bunch of your personal philosophies, preconceptions, and opinions on how someone should spend their time, just shut the fuck up and list the program
Cool, retard? Cool. Retard.

3x10 @55%

4x7 @65%

5x5 @75%

6x3 @85%

10x1 @95% OR MORE

4x8 @60%

6x6 @70%

8x4 @80%

10x2 @90% OR MORE

3x10 @65%

5x5 @75%

7x3 @85%

10x1 @95% OR MORE

This doesn't answer your request, but you can use this for any of the major compound barbell movements, besides snatch and clean & jerk.

I figured I'd just list the program and just shut the fuck up.

lmk if you have any questions.
