Need some samurai build help

I went multi strike
EE dagger
dex charm
dex armor III but will get EE upgrade when I see something better (or mayb use my lvl 20 barb one)

I am planning to go 40-50 points into vit then all in dex
I read some outdated? guides

My questions are:
1. dex or ee armor on samurai?
2. do i need to go vit at all?
3. should i do 9/1 str or no

I am very very budget on gear

EE first, then dex on armor
yes you need vit, maybe stop at 75 vit? i personally go to 100
if youre using a dagger dont put any stats into strength

You are softcore, dont worry about any vit, just pump dex (if using daggers) or str (if using swords).

You dont need ee armor on softcore, but if you prefer it, go for it. Since you're budget, I'd imagine you can get a decent MQ ee armor cheaper than a decent MQ dex armor. The EE armor would also let you use it on barb and pally regardless if you are str/dex, so you dont have to buy multiple items. If you decide to go ee armor, then maybe go 60 Vita for some more life, that's more than enough.

I go dex armors early ee armors late. If solo.
In group tank ee
Dps dex.

75 vit is def enough in softcore but if you go dex armors you might hit a few rough points.

To try and perfect the ratio is a waste of time so just go all in to dex once u get desired vita.


Depending on what you need for gear. I have a few random mid lvl ee chainmails
I'm willing to cut a deal on for a new player.

But I do suggest you pretty much follow the same thing you would for a barb. But switch the str to dex. And bam your a sammy.

I prefer swords and str cuz they work through the first 3 classes.
So honestly I play samurai exactly how I would a feeder with str.
But if u go dex and daggies. It's the same thing just Level dex instead of str

Thank you, yes the mage passed, paladin didn't unfortunately.

I am considering rerolling to barb to 55 to just spam/suicide for upgrades. I don't really want to spend any fg I didn't make on LS.

I got rekt by well monster at lvl 12 throwing a lvl10 item in it. Barb felt much stronger.

Well if you are struggling and im on and have a char leveled I can pop in and kill for you.
And death farming is ok if you actually are farming an EP event. Honestly it doesn't pan out as well as you would think.

75 Vita / Rest Dex (if you have daggers or go Str if using cheaper option Sword.) ... you basically need the vita to stay longer to charge up Multi Strike... no use dying (think this and leaving cata resets your charged up ability) and having to recharge the ability.

All weapon base damage has the same average damage (Tier/Level), the difference is the consistency. I like swords due to the higher end damage that occasionally happens when you need it and vice versa with lower end damage frustrating you.

Don't try to put in White items @ your level into a Well (you being level 12 and item being level 10), try to be 5 levels higher (this way you have more hit points if you start adding to vita from the beginning).

Grats on pass... also check the Damage Calculator to check dmg between your weapon types as well, you may find there isn't much difference other than consistency.

Vitality adds Hit points / Phys Def and for each 25 hard points, you get +1 Regen.
Someone has to also verify this (1 Vita Stat point = 1 hit point + 2 per character level), as I have forgotten the formula to work out hit points based on hard stat points and character level.

should cast all classes.

If I had equipment to do so... I would still think about it

I will just stick to Melee/Heal all classes.
