I messed up. Long story short i dont have a primary care provider atm.. not until later this week.

Need to know if what I am about to describe sounds serious or not serious at all

Last night I fell asleep at my pc with my forehead resting on my right wrist, torso slumped over on my pc desk like a disgusting caveman... I was in this position for no longer than 1 hr

Woke up at 2:20 AM with no feeling in my right hand which was expected. 5 mins passed... 10.. 15.. no feeling regained in hand. After 2 hrs I started regaining mobility in my fingers but its still very limited 14+ hrs later. My wrist and the top of hand still numb, cant even brush my teeth because right hand cant support the weight of a toothbrush.. requires my left hand acting as a support for my right wrist so I can brush properly. Cannot grip or squeeze my right hand hard enough to hold / use basic items.

Put both your arms straight out in front of you then flip your wrists up and down. I cannot lift my right hand due to numb wrist no matter how hard I focus.. its like my brain isnt registering my efforts to lift my wrist... the connection between my brain and wrist is severed is how it feels

Sry for typos.. only typing with left hand... what the hell am i experiencing...... ive tried numerous exercises including arm exercises, neck, back, hand/wrist to try and regain feeling. Nothin working

Neuropraxia or "Saturday night palsy". You should be good in time.

DPT here.

Thanks... I ordered DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZNV5N8U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 because it seems to be very effective at easing physical pain

shouldn't you go to a doctor?

also don't take stuff like DMSO unless prescribed?
