I have lost a few cats over the years. The last one passed on on August 14, 2020, and I haven't wanted to get another one in the time since.
I was telling my mom that I just don't know if I can go through losing one again. It does get somewhat better with time, but the pain never seems to totally go away...

sorry to hear about your pal :(. losing a pet sucks big ass.

just remember that they did their job for you. they made you happy and were there when you needed them most :) and nothing can take that away from you


that is the unfortunate progression of life. you're dying the second you're born, but hopefully we get to make some happy memories and special connections along the way
